What class should I enter?
Submitted by LindseyVincent on April 21, 2010 - 12:20amI am working on entering Cartman in a show this December, but I am not sure which class I should enter. Here's a background--we've shown eight times in the 6-9 month and 12-18 month classes. We were the only ones in the ring 7 of those times, and we have defeated one dog in the 12-18 month class. Cartman is my first show dog, and I did not breed him. I am unfamiliar with the other classes beyond the puppy levels. What would be a good choice for us?

You should go into the Open class.

haha...what about novice or amatuer owner-handler?
Would we not qualify for these classes since we've never had a major win? He is over 18 months, btw.

If he is older than 18 months you have a lot of choices. Open Dog.
