UPDATE on Reece's litter!!

Archived Bulldog Showing Competition

Just wanted to update on how Reece's litter is doing. We have hit on critical deadline and are very happy to say that the 6-pack is doing o.k.!

We have one little pie bald brindle baby that is still struggling with weight. At birth she weighed 8 1/2 oz and right now we are at 6 7/8 and starting to see great strides with her. She is a fighter just like her precious MOMMA and I could not ask for anything more. The bullies and I are on a 3 hour feeding schedule with each one taking a variance (cc) of formula mix with a Karo formula.

Grady has been such a TROOPER!! He came down to see the pups and his gorgeous tail started wiggling again. Grady had been throwing up on Monday as I feel he was depressed. Reece was not only his babies momma, he had such a love for her. Had not seen that before.

I am heading off for a little nap between feedings but wanted to let you know that the babes are doing o.k. When we have new pictures, Jim will post.

Thank you for your prayers, thoughts, concerns, and just letting Reece touch your heart.

I don't understand why people like you aren't on the cover of Time magazine. I think bulldog breeders are such special people - and they don't get enough credit for all the work they do to bring such special animals into our lives for all of us to enjoy.

I'm glad that you guys are finding even more strength - even amidst the tradgedy with Reece. Hopefully Grady will show the little one a few tricks on how to get MORE FOOD from the table. Thanks for sharing all the pics and updates.
