Here's my origional link posted last weekend:
http://www.network54.com/Forum/485283/message/1247942794/Question+to+other+breeders+about+returned+puppies.....
With the help of some WONDERFUL NC breeders and some great friends, Skunk is home. The new owners refused to bring him back to GA, refused all arrangements for me to pick the pup up & refused to deliver him to my friends at the Greenville show this weekend-they just basically refused to let me have him(even with a refund). Told me I would never see him again.
They posted him on PUPPY FIND(this truly ticked me off) and told me they were selling him. I sent a mass email out to a bunch of NC breeders to watch for this guy. He wouldn't bring the pup to me so I figured he'd stay pretty close to home to try to unload him. Long story short-we set him up, one breeder got the puppy and I bought it back from her. Then the guy calls the NC breeder and wants to know whos buying the pup. She told him the pup was no longer his concern and he told her it was probably the %)#*)(# breeder coming to get him. Of course, he told everyone I wouldn't take it back. The whole situation has left me with a distrust of anyones motives-I learned from this that you can trust no one no matter how well you think you know them. I was going to name this post "happy ending" but realized with Skunk home, all is well and it is a happy beginning. I can't thank all my friends who listened to me whine, cry, rant, rave, moan and groan over this situation. I know they got tired of hearing about it, but the end result paid off.....Life is good.

Thank goodness you go your baby back and you are right
you can't trust anyone. I sent a pup to Hawaii thinking it was going to the most wonderful home after numerous emails phonecalls and pictures of the pending family and after sending the pup it turned out this person was an agent and had sold my baby for twice the amount she bought her from me for. I was so upset I too couldn't sleep but as good luck would have it she ended up in the most wonderful home with a lady who keeps in regular contact with me and tracked us down as the breeders through our website where we had a pic of our baby. I learnt a quick lesson though and will never send any of my babies to Hawaii again.

I know
yesterday is in the past-I still want to hunt this guy down and hurt him. I can never let him know I have the pup back because that would throw those who helped me under the bus. But I'm a firm believer in what goes around comes around, so his is coming, I just won't be there to get the immense pleasure I would derive from it. I have to let go but it's hard when someone mistreats one of our kids.

THANKS KATHY!!
You know me well enough to know this situation made me bonkers
)) I couldn't hardly sleep or eat and kept a headache over it. I hate to think what Skunk went thru. I'll always have to wonder if they were mean or mistreated this wonderful boy. Some people just don't deserve the priviledge of having an animal in their lives.
