I entered my 6 mnth old charlie in his first show beginning of september..
well I looked at the judging schedual..he is the ONLY bulldog entered!
I didn't expect him to do anything..this is for practice.. but..geese.. only bulldog..
At least he will get nice ribbons.
Will he have to go into group as well as puppy group?

To those who understand no explanation is needed. To those who don't no explanation is possible.
In Canada you can
you receive points for all group 4 group placements wins towards your championship. Every Canadian show has Best Puppy in Group, and Best Puppy in Show. The only time you don't make into Puppy Group is if a dog Places in the group ahead of your breed that is a puppy.
Not all shows have Best Puppy and Puppy Groups.
No points will be awarded if he doesn't have any competition but it will be good practice.
If it's really far away then there's no point in spending the money for gas but that's up to you.

This will be WONDERFUL practice for you and Charlie....use it to your advantage. It will give you both practice in regular class and the group. Not many puppies can brag a best of breed/best puppy at 6 mths old so go have fun.
