Submitted by NYBulldog on April 20, 2010 - 9:32pm We took Cowboy and Janie to a small Show in Western New York. Janie took WB and BOS. Cowboy took WD, BOW, and BOB. We had alot of fun in Group but did not place. This show also had a Best of Bred by exhibitor in Show competition and Cowboy took a Group 2. The Non Sporting Bred by Group was won by Jimmy Mosses showing a Miniature Poodle. I thought he was mainly in the Herding Group, But we gave it our best and Cowboy looked GREAT.

Yes, we went to Stockton but only for the Saturday Show. We were interested in the Best Bred by Competition, and did well in it with the second in the Bred By Group. Cowboy now have 3 points and Janie has 4 points, need to find some larger shows for Cowboy but I have searched past show number in NY and the surrounding states but at this time of the year there doesn't seem to be shows with good numbers in the Bulldog breed. We have gotten some really great reviews from Judges but we need to test Cowboy against some good competition. We will have to wait till the specialty Shows in August and September I guess. Zorra is looking GREAT, hope you all have good luck at the upcoming shows.

Congrats Bruce, Cowboy and Janie....
Are you up at the Stockton shows this weekend??? You and the kids are doing really well and cleaning up at these shows. How many points do they each have now???? We are taking their sister, Zorra, and couple of others to W. Springfield instead of the outdoor hot shows at Hamlin and Hamburg after July 4th...just showing on Sat and Sunday...just to keep them in shape over the summer....I did those outdoor summer shows with Angie and they were just too much after a while for me and I didn't want her to stop enjoying showing...But I t hink the heat bothered me more than her...she had her cooler coat and cooler pad to lie on and her cooler full of ice...and her sausage from driving thru. MCD's on way to show site...she started the grand tradition of McD's for goodies!
