I really liked 2 girls and 3 boys out of the 8. The other three just had little things... one we ruled out because he had a lovely long tail, that unfortunately kinked and ended higher than the base, one we ruled out due to a minor complication from being born a week early and the other one was the only one born with a short tail and since we know that is on the moms side we opted to weed it out. The litter was very consistent in appearance and all were huge snugglers... more so than any puppies we have had in the past.

Keep your fingers crossed... the mothers sister was also bred to Alfie and she is expecting babies soon. Tomorrow is day 55 and she's really big too. Hoping she doesnt follow in her sister and momma's footprint of going a week early and hoping if she does, that the outcomes are as good as those two litters... we saved 8 out of 9 and the mommas are from a litter of 13 that 11 survived.

It's great fun for us breeders, too, to have our pups out there in a variety of venues. Gabe's sister, Moxie is tearing up the agility rings, too--just earned her Open Jumpers Preferred title recently.
