Separating pups -

I feel bad but it had to be done. They kept chewing on each others ears. I finally had to separate them. I think both are depressed now. Hopefully this will only be for a few short weeks.

Rod try Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

it is Natural , and non toxic. It has great healing properties for the skin and most importantly it smells like awful and tastes worse. LOL I use it on wood, on leashes (when puppies won't stop chewing them), and on skin if dogs are licking an area for some reason. If you get the ears wet with it, and then put the pups together I would be curious for your response that they are still interested in each others ears. Once they get the idea that the ears don't smell or taste too good they will learn to play without get ears in there mouths.
As long as you do it until the behavior corrects itself it should work out fine.
Best Wishes
Deirdre

Thanks for the advice guys!

Something needs to be done. They are brutal with each other..

They both look guilty.

how you put up with such sad little faces. I'd have to quit my job and stay home with them 24/7!

George says, "Bring dem over here. I'll keep an eye on dem. Ima good baby sittaw. Dey can chew on my toys instead of der ears. Siwwy puppies."

AWWWWW!!

It is really hard though to raise two pups at the same time and get them more bonded with you and the family for play and stuff than they are with the other puppy/playmate. I know it can be done but I find it difficult trying to get them out and socialized alone rather than getting their courage from being with the other playmate. I kept 4 to grow out at once one time...man I made a lot of trips to the various pet stores and parks so they were not so dependent on each other but on me for 'fun' and games.
That, of course, is from a person who was an obedience competitor first and like my dogs very focused on me and not each other.
They are beautiful and pitiful at the same time though! LOL

If only I was as good a person as my dogs seem to think I am!
