This is CH Kippax Fearnought Handler was Harry Sangster Fearnought was whelped Oct 25,1952 Winning the Westminster Show in 1955.

kennel name came from! (...not just because Harry was a crusty ol' fart!
He WAS a character!)
Did you know that is where
Noughty Bulldogs started too? Harry's first bulldogs were out of Fearnought and another out of Dreadnought

I had the same thought--he does remind me of your boy
(and that would be quite a compliment as Fearnought is one of the Greats in breed history!)

I actually got this from a book of Westminister & to my knowledge these are the only two that have won at westminster. Prince Albert the first bulldog was 3 years old and weighed 41 pounds. I loved Fearnought as he remined me of Buford but a smaller version. I even have his pedigree. Kim
There's a dog who looks like...
he could do very well today. How neat that we've had some Westminster BIS bulldogs--not every breed can say this! How many bulldogs have gone BIS there (are these the only two--or didn't Vardona Frosty Snowman do it as well?)
