Gives me puppy fever!

its funny when you don't want them to come in they do, and the opposite! sounds very exciting!! I adore the puppy stages and watching them grow!!!I'm curious to see if females usally follow there mothers patterns through generations, seems like such weird traits are heraitary like barkers ect. I'm thinking the task is keeping it all together..lol, health, temperment, toplines, ears, nose placement,feet, on and on, two steps forward one step back. Love it!!

Exciting week as we have a litter due with Rosemary from the Friday the 13th litter having Atlas babies on August 1st...Weds..first time mom and is also big as a house but vet only saw 3-4 pups...but then again...he only saw 4 or 5 in Haley and she had 7...I just figured her muscles were shot and she showed easily and early...has kept on a good weight and is eating well...but 7 is still a big litter for a little bitch...but she is eating and drinking well...she never seems to have tons of milk...her pups grow slower but are easier to wean b/c they are hungry little beasties when they get into their puppy food...no need for slop...they are ready for well soaked straight puppy food by 3 and 1/2 to 4 weeks old...just mush enough to make peaks in it so they can get ahold of the food.
Of course, Merlot, who I have been dying to come into heat and have her 'hubby' all picked out and am super excited about, has no intentions of coming into heat...she didn't come in with the rest of them...
Any one have any experiences with the Ovuplant???

and then 'eye-ris' followed that...and Munch was b/c he was such a chunk and a pig...
Then I thought of Garosh with his line about 'don't tease a dog b/c he's just a pup, cause you better run for cover when the pup grows up!'...and then the ball of Les Mis got running...and that named the rest of the boys easily enough...
Cosette and Eponine didn't get used...what was Cosette's mother's name...good grief...my brain is fried!

beautiful colors. Merlot has gorgeous color.
