please help.. charlies staining

I wrote before about charlies water stain under his neck.
I changed his water bowls and tried to dry after every drink..
But the stain is still there..
I entered him in his first show in the beginning of september hoping his neck would look better ..his white neck is brown..
There must be something that can be done to get white again..I really need your help ..
I feel aweful about this..like I have let him down..

Its not a bruise..

Re: Charlie Staining

yes a large bowl for water..shoul i switch to smaller one

Angel Eyes

Give him Angel Eyes everyday and he'll clear up in 2weeks or less. Mix into his food; don't put in water.
I have a female with white face/neck and was having the same problem and nothing else was working until I tried Angel Eyes, now I give it to her once in a while for maintenance. I purchased the small bottle in December and still have about a 1/4 left.

Good luck!

Re: please help.. charlies staining

my favorite grooming aid is Plush Puppy white out cream, then corn starch over top..... it will cover this no problem its water poof so don't get it on any black. I always use water bottles as well at shows so they don't slime themselves up after being groomed. good luck!

You might try...

one of the 'Lick It' type bottles with a metal spout that the dogs can lick on for their water. They are the ones that are often used in rabbit cages. They come in several sizes and clip to their crates. We use those and don't have any issues with staining under their chins. Their breeder said it also helped keep chin acne under control because they stay drier. We've used them since they were puppies. It also helps with some of the mess with drinking from a bowl and them dribbling water all over when they're done if you're not there to wipe their chins.

Peroxide

We brought my daughters girl to the specialist and he said try a change of food but to use peroxide to help whiten. It worked but remember every dog is different so what food is no good for yours is good for someone else. Trail and errow. Good Luck. Would love to see pictures of the whole bullie. LOL

What food is he on?

Trace had a little staining under his chin while on TOTW. He has none since changing to Natural Balance.
