Our New Champion - BISS Ch. Admirabulls Apollo

We had an incredible weekend...
Apollo took the Atlanta specialties by storm...yesterday he was Winner's Dog under Dr. John Little for his second 5 point specialty major.
Today Apollo goes Winner's Dog, Best of Winners and BEST OF BREED under Fred Fulton for his third 5 point specialty major to finish his championship.
Apollo is now BISS Ch. Admirabulls Apollo
Sire: Ch. Glendars Sterne Prince Charles
Dam: BISS Ch. Admirabulls Ami
Breeders: Michael & Patti Rathje and Dara & Glen Carr
Owners: Michael & Patti Rathje
Apollo is our 6th homebred champion, and 10th overall. We are proud to say that all 10 have finished with at least one 5 point major.
Apollo was also awarded Best in Sweepstakes at the 2007 BCA National Specialty show under Ms. Elaine Andrews. Apollo was awarded his first 5pt specialty major two weeks ago at the Bulldog Club of Texas under Ms. Pat Ropp.
Congrats to Dara & Glen on another homebred as well, and special thanks to them for everything they have done for us....without them and Darlene, we would not be anywhere. The best mentors anyone could hope for.
The Atlanta club did an awesome job with their show!

People dream of weekends such as that! You guys sure have come along ways and the furture sure seems bright for you. It makes me happy to see that. Lisa and I still think a lot of and think of you guys often. Lisa told me when she got back from the Springfield shows last year what a nice boy he was/is. Ami would be proud of her boy! See you at a show sometime.

A First for Charley
I am so proud of my boy Charley. This is Charley's first champion - mine as well. I was just so proud to simply see his name in the catalog from Nationals, and then all this success that has followed for Apollo - what a joy. We have been living vicariously through Apollo, and it's been a wonderful ride. And a ride it is - all I have done is have fun and hold Charley's lead in the ring.
Many thanks to Michael and Patti for seeing Charley's qualities and knowing that they would mix so well with Ami. And many thanks to Glen and Dara Carr for all of thier breeding expertise.
I am cooking a nice big Costco Sirloin Steak for Charley right now.......
