Gabe's finally matured enough now (he was a late bloomer) and I think he's ready for the breed ring. We're also starting some shows up in Canada (being so close to the border & one of the biggest Canadian shows is only about a half hour away!) With focusing on training for movie stuff, I gave him a break from his OB stuff, but need to get back at it so he can do it more confidently & I think it'll come together fast. I also hope to get him into some tracking and beginning agility--but there's only so much time! The breed showing is pretty new territory for ME, too--I've never had an AKC champion yet (though I did put a 5 pt major on a pug years ago, we moved and I was never able to finish her)

Dixie and I didn't do much of anything in 2009 - we're kinda in obedience purgatory, shes trained through utility, but not polished enough to hold it together in the show ring and now I'm battling more frequent senior aliments with her, so not sure well even be back 2010 Ill be focusing on Twisters conformation showing, a whole new world for me! I cannot wait! LOL

What a nice representation for the Bulldog in the obedience ring. Way to go!

you and Gabe covered some real ground in that novice B ring last year....seems Dixie and I missed top 10 Non Sporting group in Open A by 6 points...she was top Open A bulldog (although, not such a difficult accomplishment) LOL

was up there in a couple catagories--Rally as well, I believe. By the time they get the ratings up you've forgotten what you were working on for THAT year! This year we were doing other things (like our movie project, some breed showing, etc.) so I don't think we'll even be mentioned...gotta get out there & rack up some more in '10! Hopefully we can get our Open work polished up and head back into the OB ring!

Just got to get back at it and work towards our Open title (CDX) this coming year, maybe dabble in some tracking & agility...we'll see!
