It is a bit of a convoluted schedule. People are going to have to really pay attention when showing class dogs to make sure they are ready for their ring time.
My favorite part of the schedule is when we start at 12:30 or 1 and there is a lunch break at the discretion of the judge. Just found that amusing.

Hi Jen,
I understand that this, as printed, is the way the veterans are scheduled to be judged. Typically, from memory, the veterans are judged just prior to Intersex, after Juniors. I guess in the last 10 years, they were judged after Winners Dog and Winners Bitch once, maybe twice.
I would think that the judging program would take into consideration the fact that people bring their veterans to be seen by all the people that would come to watch Intersex, to give the veterans their due. If the veterans were judged after Winners Dog and Winners Bitch, it would be very late and people would be hungry and not be inclined to stick around and watch these older guys and gals and give them their due, as they would right before Intersex.

I really appreciate the effort to prevent the dreaded Double Bred-By Conflict which has plagued Nationals over the years.
Invariably, if you have a dog and bitch in Bred By, the stars line up to ensure they will try to be on at the same time, requiring one ring or another to stop.
In the case of the MN Nationals, the rings were on different floors, and the walky-talkies were not working well, which meant people running up and down the stairs to let ring 1 know what ring 2 was doing and vice-versa and all the exhibitors who had entries in both too.
I only have a male class dog this year, but have been in the double Bred-By, "what are they on over there?!?" boat on several occasions.
The altered schedule does mean staying alert. Thankfully the pace of the show and length of classes gives one lots of time to get up to speed.

Hmm, it says schedule
But veteran dogs and bitches should not be judged before winners. They do not compete for points
Anyone know when veterans will be shown? If memory serves they have usually been shown before Intersex judging begins.
