***MoM says SoMeTimES iT's oK to BRaG*** Pix
Submitted by Cheryl and The ... on April 20, 2010 - 9:35pmMom said since I was acting like such a big boy (after all, I AM six months old now!) that I could go and play at a real dog show! I got to go to a Rally Novice trial and Mom says I made her very proud! I got a "leg" (don't know why I need more than four, but Mom seems to like it) and they also gave me THIS pretty red ribbon...
I did pretty good, I guess...they said I got 98 points out of 100! But most of all we had a lot of fun!
Here Mom, you really should have this pretty ribbon because you helped make it all possible...
Well, Gabe--how 'bout if we BOTH share it? After all, it took TEAMWORK!

The whole FAMILY did awesome Mom says...between us we got THREE "legs" (that's almost enough to make a whole nother dog!) Chubby showed in the Rally Advanced class and got the same score as me! My Doggy Momma was in my class and got a 96 (but she was kind of tired cuz she had to run over to the Beauty ring where she won a pretty red ribbon, too!)
We had LOTS of bulldogs in this Rally Show and got to meet "Alvin" & his Mom Nelia who also got a leg yesterday. Another bulldog Mom named Tammy (who has our buddy Bailey from the BDW board & the Seattle Bully Club) took some awesome pictures of us in action! Here they are...
Mom said I watched her real well, so that's why I got lotsa points! (but she's kinda funny to watch...you never know what she's going to do! He! He!)

My Doggy Momma made people smile, too...
Mom said the judge was also a Bulldog Beauty judge and he said nice things about me, which made her feel good, too 
Mom also says that if we keep this up, people will find out our special secret...that bulldogs are very, very smart and they like to learn new things and win prizes and there'll be lots and lots of people showing bulldogs in the "talent" classes! Then it'll be just like our own Family Reunion when we go to shows!

I always love your posts. Congrats on all the 'legs' and thanks for sharing all the photos. Your kids are just so talented, and they have such a good mommy. One of these days I need to get my brain in gear and give Obedience a try with my gang, you make it look so fun

Yes, it was quite a circus!
Four classes within a couple hours time, plus run-throughs to coordinate! Pip wsa due in the breed ring about a half hour before her & Gabe's class, which I knew wouldn't be enough time to get back for, so I thought they'd have to go at the end of their rally class...but found out the breed class was delayed nearly a half hour while they were waiting for a ramp...so I ran back over just in time to take Pip, then Gabe through their courses, then back to the breed ring (across the fairgrounds, of course!) just as the Open Bitch class was lining up in the ring! Whew--got 2nd in the class, then hung out to see if we were needed for RWB and back to the Rally ring just as the qualifying dogs were called into the ring for awards! Yes, it kept me on my toes...but it worked out great and was fun, too!
Well, Chubbs isn't his ACTUAL Grandma...
just an "adopted" one
But yes, they're all pretty special! Thanks!
