Sounds like a very nice weekend for everyone.

She get so upset if we leave her home, she was 2 weeks before the puppies were due. Most of the time she sat on the bed in the RV, but did enjoy going for walks. He was huge and had 7 puppies 2 weeks later.

We talked it over with the vet, since she traveled great and staying home she is awful with me gone it was best to bring her with us.

I know many others who do the same.

The first day was small and he got a point.. We got lucky.. He has allot of growing to do..

When we signed up for the show we didn't think she was pregnant.. After we found out, I was going to leave her at home but to be honest, she would of been more stressed not being with me. I took every precaution I could while she was with me.. I took her to potty away from where the other dogs went.. If she wasn't in the ring she was in my ice cold air-conditioned truck.. It all went well... On Sunday it was pretty obvious to people that she was pregnant.. She got real big over night...

DId you brag about Squid? Congrats on him too.

Holly is my girl, nice wins for her. Cant wait to see her kids.

other than winning the class, nothing, but that is what we expect with misbehaving babies.. I was really impressed with allot of the bullies there, especially the girls.. Beautiful dogs!

I still can't believe how lucky we have been..

Elizabeth, people were reminding of that all week. And I did try to avoid other dogs and potty areas.. But the one thing that was in the back of my mind was, for people, herpes is sexually transmitted, I mean you can't get it from a toilet seat. So why can a dog pick it up just by being around another dog that has it.. Not that I doubt it wouldn't happen, but how can it happen?

no judgement here, just didn't know if I read it right.
Our Ridgefield Calypso was pregnant when she won her AOM.... and she flew on a plane (we still did that back then).. she was only 4 weeks bred at that time.
The only thing that would worry me about bringing a bitch preggers to a show now is the herpes scare. I guess you just keep them away from all the other dogs and people as much as possible.
