This is from last day (Sunday) of Wine Country circuit in Romulus NY the last weekend in September. Of course, that Would be the day I'd wake up with a major migraine!!! It was a 3 pt crossover win with taking Best of Winners. Bodie is the first show dog that Colleen (and Chuck and Kasta) have had...and she bred him herself (with just a slight contribution from the every generous Atlas. LOL)
What a lovely show with lovely weather and a SPECTACULAR ending!!!!! And Colleen has only been at this going on a year. Bodie was 16 months old in the picture. He needs that last 3 point major....but to be this far at his age and with him being her very first show dog...I am so impressed by the 2 of them and proud of them too!
If only I were as good a person as my dogs seem to think I am!

Re: MAJOR WIN PIX FOR COLLEEN Howland & BODIE
Bodie looks GREAT. You won't have a problem finding your major with him. Way to go Colleen

Congrats to you both!
...or should I say you THREE?!! He was a handsome pup, wasn't he--no wonder he's doing so well! I thought Gabe needed more filling out, but his build right now at 10 mos reminds me quite a bit of Bodie--maybe he's ready after all

OH...a quick before and after on Bodie...
Bodie at 7 weeks

Bodie at 6 months practicing standing still
Bodie in beginning of April at specialty in Cherry Hill (10 months)
Bodie at Balston Spa in August Taking Best of Breed (14 mo)
And then most recent picture (16 months)
It is fun to watch him grow and Colleen's handling get better and better isn't it???? Goes to show you that it may take a lot of work but the only way to get better in the show ring is to hop in with both feet!
If only I were as good a person as my dogs seem to think I am!
