I wouldn't say more substance, but they are definatley bigger in Europe, in many instances, rediculously so.
Please do not make the mistake of admiring size and mistaking it for quality substance.
The *very best dogs in Europe and England are very similar in size and substance to the very best dogs here (USA). The standard works.. not sure why they feel a need to make them huge over there.. or here for that matter.

Thanks for sharing, Beth and Phil! I really enjoyed seeing the dogs over there. I CANNOT wait to see them in person at Crufts and at the Champ show the weekend before. I really loved both Best Puppies.
