I just wanted to take a moment and give a big THANK YOU to everyone for putting up with me and doing a really amazing job fighting this awful piece of legislation

Things are kinda nuts right now, but there is some good news from the front lines. We have gotten very organized in an unprecedented way. I do not think the bill's authors and backers expected it. Check out www.petpac.net, click on opposition to see the variety of those opposed. and that is certainly not every group, only those who have officially listed there. We have over 225 vets listed on a group in opposition, a number growing daily. The news coverage is getting more balanced, online polls are consistently 60-70% against the measure etc.

And the bill was yanked in a very underhanded way out of the Business and Proffesions Committee by the bill's author because it was NOT going to pass that Committee. Hopefully we can run it to ground in the Local Government Committee. We won't stop till this is dead.

they say everything starts in California. Well, maybe we can start to turn the tables on the extremists here. And then build on this as a starting point to protect our dogs for the future against this sort of thing. Instead of a disaster, because of this fight California can become the model for how to fight back.


There is still alot of work of course. But we California dog owners have found their voices in a very big way!
