HSUS is pimping AB 1634. ACT NOW

Not when you read HSUS promo that we are all "puppy mills"

now is a good time to take part of HSUS' advice... call e-mail and write your State Senator and Assembly person! Just take 10 minutes to reafirm your OPPOSITION. It will pay big dividends if we act now.

And lets not start off behind the eight ball again this year. If you have not done so yet, send PetPAC a donation to help bulk up our resources for the rapidly approaching January fight.

This is what the multimillion $ HSUS is sending out to help shove AB 1634 down our throats, please fight back now!!

California: Help Pass the Healthy Pets Act
Each year in the U.S., approximately 3-4 million homeless dogs and cats die in shelters. Pet overpopulation is a huge problem and can be curbed by spaying and neutering animals. Dogs and cats who are spayed or neutered tend to have fewer health problems and can be less aggressive. The California Healthy Pets Act (A.B. 1634) would reduce pet overpopulation in California through spaying and neutering, thereby saving hundreds of thousands of animal lives.

Opponents of this animal welfare bill have organized large numbers of people to target legislators in an attempt to change their votes and prevent its passage. They are even calling from out-of-state, and harassing particular lawmakers. We can’t let the puppy mills out-hustle animal advocates on this important pet protection bill. Legislators need to hear from their constituents—you!—so they know you support this sensible reform.

TAKE ACTION
Please contact your state senator today and ask for support of A.B. 1634 to reduce pet overpopulation in California. Click here to look up your state senator and the office phone number.

After you make your call, fill in and submit the form at the right to automatically send an email to your state senator in support of spaying and neutering. Your legislators receive a lot of email, so it is very important to personalize the text below so that your message will stand out and have a greater impact.

Please help all the dogs and cats in California who cannot speak for themselves; they are depending on you! Let us not miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a real difference for companion animals.
