how to find shows in my area

Hi! I am new to these forums...
I would like to find out if there are any dog shows in my area. Is there a place that specialty shows (that's the kind with only one breed of dog right?) are listed?
I think that someday (in the distant future) I may be interested, but for the time being I would love to go watch one (or two or three).
Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks so much!

I checked out the site! It doesn't look like there is anything right now, but after the first of the year there is a lot going on.

www.infodog.com

You can search for shows in your state and surrounding areas.

Myspace Comments, Glitter Graphics at GlitterYourWay.com

Where do you guys live?

We live in Sacramento, CA. There always seems to be s show going on at least once a week or every other week nearby. I'd also check infodog.com. You can browse by state and it's also a site you can register/pay to enter shows. Hope this helps, let me know if you've got other questions. happy.gif

finding shows

if you want to see a listing of bulldog specialty shows go to www.thebca.org (BCA is the Bulldog Club of America web site)

other (all breed) conformation shows can be found on the AKC web site - go to www.akc.org (search events, then choose conformation and click on your state)

hope this helps
