Display or preserve your show ribbons? I was trying to think of a nice way to display Jimmys ribbons. I thought about a shadow box or somehow framing them? Was wondering if anybody here has done something similar and could post ideas & photos. Thanks!

what I do
Dixie has a "love me" wall - which has actually turned into a hallway.....I have a large shelf for trophies & what not and only rosettes are hung up - I was wondering what others were doing - I'm not to the point where I could ever up my ribbons (we are still too new)
but I do get a lot of flat ribbons when we qualify in obedience & rally - here is a really neat web site...with ideas

Looks Great E!!!!
Love the Jars.... We have used the shadow boxes but found the rosette kinda slides around after a bit... lol Plus you run out of wall space after a while.

I had
asked a similar question last week or so.

This is what I came up with;
the baskets hold the ribbons of matching wins.. I have Winners baskets, BOW..BOS.. BISweeps..
and for the rosettes;
I put all the rosette faces towards the outside of the vase. I have one for my (small) collection of group wins too.. and because they sit up high.. the blue ones are on the bottom so I can see them, then they spiral up from blue, red, yellow with the white ones on top.
The shadow boxes look nice for the really important wins, but they get cluttered.
Hope this helped.

umm well what about those of us who are
just not quite there yet, LOL!
Just kiddin E!
Mias ribbons started collecting up..so for now we display them in our hutch in the dinning room, in a pretty bowl with wins pics in the back ground..newest first!
Whne the big wins come..well think more creatively...
Shadow boxes are nice..but often too small...I tried that already..so it needs to be custom built....if you want to make it look good and ad pics and memorbillia.....
Hutch is another option....and also this thing they sell at Ikea...
it mounts to the wall, and is basically a picture holder with thse clothes pins things.....its pretty cool...so then you can hand them nicely in the home and rotate things if you want to change it..will see if I can find it for ya
I love the vase
Re: How do youM-^E.
I don't have any examples but what you might think of doing is win photo/ribbons/engraved plaque in whatever design you prefer. The shadow boxing is actually quite neat if done by the right person. The sports memorabilia guys are actually quite good at this.
Good luck
