The Mayor and City Council of Ft. Worth are very uninformed and misled as to the intentions of the adopted ordinance. Saying "What we have now doesnt work, so we have to do something..." They never tried enforcing the old ordinance.
A very tragic event in the mauling and death of a 3 yr. old child was prominently used to influence the Council. Though good intentions in thinking they will prevent future such tragedies, truth be known, they very well may have made it possible for more of these terrible losses to occur...
Having attended the Council Meeting it is very obvious that our side is very unorganized with very few Speakers that actually touch on the issues that are most important in our argument. We must become more educated and articulate in presenting our case against such ordinances.
