BRING ON THE BLING!

To celebrate this years specialty show theme, well be having a BULLING BLING! party both Monday & Tuesday, August 17-18! Bling is a slang term referring to flashy or elaborate jewelry and ornamented accessories that are carried, worn, or installed, such as cell phones or tooth caps. No suits, ties, skirts or pantyhose necessary channel your inner gangster or diva and show off your Bling in the show ring!

Please mention The Bulldog Club of Greater Seattle to receive our special group rate of $104.95 (triple/quad $124.95) per night plus tax and $50 pet fee for your entire stay. Maximum of FOUR dogs per room. Dogs are to be crated in guest rooms at all times. Group block of rooms will be held until Monday, JULY 27. After that date, all rooms will be opened to the public, so dont delay.

RV PARKING

RV parking (with electrical hook-up) is available for $45 per night for a maximum of 15 RVs at the Red Lion Hotel Olympia. No water or waste dumping provided. BANQUET RESERVATIONS DEADLINE WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5

Make reservations now to attend the Bulldog Club of Greater Seattles Banquet on Monday, August 17 at 6:00 PM. This year, we are going with "Some Like it Hot!" All the fixins to build your own taco, including ground beef, grated cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, olives and green onions. It will be served with sour cream, salsa, jalapenos and guacamole. Refried beans and Spanish rice will complete the meal. For dessert, we have baked cookies and brownies. Assorted sodas will be included. Price is $20.00 per person. We are offering two specialty drinks from the bar, 16 oz. Bully Gold Medal Margarita for $4.75 and the Bully's Bananaberry Freeze for $6. All are Welcome! You need not be entered in the show to enjoy the Banquet. Please plan to stay for our renowned Live Auction following dinner! All reservations must be received no later than AUGUST 5, 2009. Additional fee of $5 for reservations made after August 5th.

BULLDOG HEALTH CLINIC

The Bulldog Club of Greater Seattle will host a Bulldog CHIC Clinic on Monday, August 17. Dr. Lisa Hedman of River Road Animal Hospital will be conducting OFA cardiac and OFA patella screenings for just $25 per dog, or $35 for two dogs (same owner). OFA has also offered us a discounted submission rate of $7.50 per submission (regular price is $15). Your dog could earn a CHIC certification for only $40! AUCTION DONATIONS

We greatly appreciate any donations of new or vintage bulldog-related items or cash donations for us to purchase items. Please get your donations in ahead of time (shipped directly to Gail or brought to any BCGS meeting or event), or bring them to the show. All donations MUST be submitted by 12:00 pm on Monday, August 17. Someone from the Auction Committee will be available at the show beginning Monday morning to accept your donations.
