sorry to hear about your girls hip. I am not sure how long it has been so at this point I would not put any added weight on her and getting her in the ring would be the last thing i would worry about. Get her healed, and research why this occured. I am not sure how old she is but a broken hip is not a minor surgery. It can have debilitatring effects if not healed properly. And if not healed properly, the good side compensates for the bad side thus creating even more problems. It would cause alarm for me in the furture with her ability to carry puppies. So if this were my bitch i would need to know the why and hows of her broken hip/..all questions that would race through my mind before i showed her. I would have them x-rayed again later to see how it helaed and how the other one looks as well. If it were something minor and all looked ok then i would consider taking her out in the ring. Otherwise I would get her spayed and have her a loving pampered pet. Again i am only speking of my own personal opinion based on the info you posted. She is a pretty girl. I know you did not ask about all the hip stuff but I wanted to suggest not adding any extra weight to her during her healing process.

be very careful about what you post reguarding your dog if your considering showing her. I am not asking you to reveal anything you do not want to, but just letting you know to be careful what you say. In the show world people do talk and what you say about your dog can affect you or the dog in a negative way. Forums are often represented as one sided and rumors fly. Some medical surgeries are not allowed per AKC rules and can disqualify the dog from being shown. For more information refer to AKC.org.
I think your girl is very pretty. her color is stunning a looks very vibrant in the pics. From the front her jaw width looks pretty decent. Learn to stack her and get a mentor who can help you and then take her out. Have fun! Once you do it you will be hooked!

i would put a few pounds on her and bulk her up a bit, just a pound or 2.
When you are stacking her, make sure you have plenty of room between her and the other dog to give her space and so she will not look so small next to a larger bitch

I think she is lovely
and should do quite well in the ring, just looking at her but until you feel the dog and see it move you can't really tell
