charlies staining..pic

Hi..Thanks for the suggestions..
I just ordered a water bottle for him to drink from..(good luck training him and the toy girls to use it) they didn't have angel eyes, but a product called diamond eyes that you apply with a cotton ball..came highly recommended..
His first show is sept 5th.. barely 6 mnths .
Here is a pic I just took of his face.. as you can see his tear stains are not bad,,i really do think its the water drinking.. he is a messy boy!

Lixit Bottles...

Hi Sue! Charlie is looking so awesome! We bought some large Lixit bottles at a dog show and the only thing the puppies don't like about them is the needle-type tip. They prefer plain old rabbit water bottles with the ball tip (although we've had some leaks). I'm sure Lixit makes them with ball-tips too, but we didn't even think about that at the time. Good luck with your first show! Havok won't be 6 months till the 9th, so no Labor Day weekend show! Phoenix is 6 mos now, but I'm waiting a little longer for her.
Have fun!

Lixit bottle

Your dogs should figure it out quickly.
I put one in the puppy play pen when a new litter is first brought out into the main part of the house and it takes them about 10 seconds to learn to drink from it.
What I like best about a Lixit bottle for tiny pups is; no worry about one of them going face first into a water bowl and drowning, or constantly stepping into a water bowl and spilling it everywhere.
All the big dogs have a bottle in their crates and each of the outdoor pens have a 1/2 gallon bottle attached to the fence. We have no staining on necks, chins, etc.
