bullies and my son has minature australian shepherds, and when they come to play its on when my guys get tired they just lay down and the aussies just keep going and going, they are great together, they keep the bullies entertained lol I say go for it.

I have had hunting dogs with all our bullies, we have a dogy door so there is a race track from the back yard to the living room, the bullies usually make one curcuit and then stop and wait for the hunting dog to make the next pass, surprising how the bullies can keep up on a short run.

and though they can be terminally silly they are really a wonderful breed of dog...not 'froo froo' at all but really have more of the retriever instinct in them I think than their smaller counterparts...they are not extremely high energy either...not around the house...they, like a lab or a golden, love to chase and retrieve things and need to get exercise that way...but around the house they are also couch potatoes once they get over the puppy stuff...and mine were all great with kids and people and other dogs...socialization of course is key with any dog...but I have often thought of getting another one someday...I got professional clippers and learned to groom them and then ended up with a businesss out of my home when my kids were little little...not school age yet...They are so bright and attuned to their people too.
Now I miss my Cammi and Arthur! (Am. CDX's both of them)I lived in an apartment just outside of NYC at the time
