breeding, counts and boys or girls
Submitted by ickytazz on April 20, 2010 - 10:21pmI have been told if you breed early you can have one sex, breed late you get the other.
Im wondering if anyone has tracked what they got when breeding. Since we breed most of the time by vaginal slides i can not say what the number were but can tell from the slides when to breed.
Lil we breed when 30hrs after her progesterone was 16.9 she had 3 boys and 2 girls
Holly we breed 2 days after 5.9 had one of each. This time we did progesterone and she
stalled right after 5 and stopped going up so if she did this last time we should have
breed a bit later.
Breve' we have not done progesterone on, we have just done vaginal cytology so i dont know her
numbers 1st litter she had 5 boys 2 girls 2nd litter 5 girls 1 boy
Bella We did slids and progesterone, i dont remember her numbers on these right now 3boys 1 girl

If you have done progesterone if you breed when the numbers were high, what did you get boys/girls. If you breed and the progesterone was low what did you get?

i would guess it it was the last male in the line
besides using frozen, and the puppies he had been throwing were bitches and you wanted a dog to carry on.

"you" as in anyone. I know this subject has been talked about for years, I was just curious why someone would want more of one sex than another.
