The 10 month old female, Little Bit, Rantom's CrewDawg Mariah, that I own with Randy Kelly took Winner's Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed at her very first show for a 4 point major under breeder judge, Dorothy Praeger. I showed her in class and Randy showed her in group but didn't do anything.
Fred Haynes red brindle boy, can't remember his name took Winner's Dog and placed 3rd in the Non-Sporting Bred By Class. It was a great day. I haven't been in the ring since I retired Ulysses earlier this year. Looking forward to the rest of the weekend.

So if I enter three classes, & lose one I can't win in another? I'm new to this
Scarlett's first show she didn't place in the puppy class, but got 4th place open. So are you saying that since she lost the puppy class theres no way she could have won one of the others? (sorry if the way I'm wording this is confusing!) I figured that since there are different dogs in each class the competition changes, know what I mean?
Also, since I only show her when there is a show near-by (we live in Boston) I don't mind spending the money to enter more than one class. I feel like the more practice she and I get the better - right?
Thanks again!
(Also, I know I talked to someone from the BCNE at the cranberry cluster - not sure if it was you - I got the application mailed to me, but the post office sent me an apology letter along with part of the application. It was damaged on the way here. Could I get another application mailed out?)

I remember you from the BCNE specialty in September.
I only enter one class at each show. Why enter 3? It's very expensive and if you lose one class your out. If you enter one class & win the class then you can go in for winners. I don't know anyone who enters more than 1 conformation class at a show.

with Scarlett on Sat. & Sun. She's entered in puppy 12-18 months, novice, and open.
I've only shown her once before - do you guys think that the classes I've entered are ok? I'm trying to get experience for myself and Scarlett so I figured the more classes the better.

Breed & Novice B obedience.
Should be very interesting...LOL
I just love these shows and they're only 45 minutes (without traffic) from my house. Friday's commute will be hairy. I'm giving myself 90 minutes to get there. Early is better than late. Saturday's will be a piece of cake.
