It isn't too bad, but I noticed when my 9 week old puppy gets really excited her tail will stick up a little over the base, is there anything I can do to correct that?

OMG look at that face!! He/she looks quite pissed off! I love it! Beautiful by the way, tail looks great, & they do carry it more up for balance as a puppy than anything, it will go down.

LOL! Even the best can fall apart. Only time will tell. She has been consistant and I love that about her. And I LOVED her movement! She has such a nice gait already for such a young pup. Thanks for loving her.

will carry it high when they gate for balance. Her tail sets fine. A gay tail is one in which the tip of the tail is carried higher than the source of the tail- which is the base. Her tail is carried out when she puts it up but not up towards the sky. Looks at the BCA illustrated guide pic of a gay tail. Karissa also has length of tail and will hold it out but it doesnt point up and into the air. As they grow thier tail becomes tightr and they wont be able to carry them as they do as puppies. For now they are like rutters. Used for balance, movement and carried out when they are excited. No worries. She will be fine. One thing you can do is when you stack her place your hand on her rear over the tail. This way she will learn to keep it down. I wount worry though. Her tail is fine and she is a puppy. Trust me. LOL!

Agreed! All of our Bully's have straight lengthy tails
and as pups they always carry them out vertically, it will go down
As said above its a just for balance when they are young.

Rhiann, you know how I am...
I am so picky and self critical. I am constantly questioning, or noticing Spanky's faults too.

Thanks Vicky!
It really isn't bad, I was just curious.
Thanks again!

no, you can push it down when she is stacking
as she gets older it should go down, most tailsets get lower at the pup matures.

I was very worried about Honey's tail, but it was starting to go down.
