and re-introducing..

Rio!
Rio is from our litters last year, the Cowboy-Fendi litter. She was the smallest one and in fact we were looking to put her with a nice family. So, she is with mom and mom keeps telling me she likes this pup. When we went back for Christmas we kind of decided "we think we will keep this one"..lol
So much for knowing anything.
Here was Rio as a baby baby;

and three weeks ago;

She filled out quite a bit. She is very much like "Pooch" on the way she is built in the body.
Look for Rio having her way with Norma at Lenape this weekend.

oops

I'm only talking about the original puppy posted, not the additional dog... yes long day... sorry

Kristie Barwick

I see it the opposite way

to me as a pup the stifels look straighter, but the rear is way out behind her and hocks straight to the ground so there not pencil legs lol, I would be very happy with that amount of anulation in the rear in the second picture... I have a 18m girl who doesn't have alot of angulation in the rear, so I'm trying to figure out how she moves so well, like shes floating? I would think a straight rear would = resricted movement??? I wish there was a way to post video's here that didn't get distorted by u tube I'd love to hear takes on that as well..

I got my front and back confused.....lol

E - re; Stifle

I would call the bottom pic straight-hocked.....
are the two terms interchangeable or am I mistaken?

Paula~

Stifle

Her movement is beautiful.
I don't agree that she is straight in the stifle however.

This to me is straight in the stifle.

She is a nice pup

She is gorgeous all the same

Elizabeth....she looks a LOT like Juliet!!! WOW! Thanks for posting!!!

pup

I would never of guessed her rear would turn into what it is now, and same with the front... like her head as a pup, she really blossemed. I adore seeing progression pics.... and not just the final outcome, theres so much more to it then that! I also think it bennifits people growing up pups that may give up on a younge dog, going through a gangly stage. thanks for sharing she looks great.

I remember you posting the pictures of them as pups.

Obama Supports AR

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Democrat Barack Obama says he won't just be a president for the American people, but the animals too.
"What about animal rights?" a woman shouted out during the candidate's town hall meeting outside Las Vegas Wednesday after he discussed issues that relate more to humans, like war, health care and the economy.

Obama responded that he cares about animal rights very much, "not only because I have a 9-year-old and 6-year-old who want a dog." He said he sponsored a bill to prevent horse slaughter in the Illinois state Senate and has been repeatedly endorsed by the Humane Society.

"I think how we treat our animals reflects how we treat each other," he said. "And it's very important that we have a president who is mindful of the cruelty that is perpetrated on animals."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think this is a big cause for concern!

Re: and re-introducing..

very nice development. We look forward to seein her in the ring. I see alot of "druthers" from breeders, keep the "nice one from the litter" and the ugly duck blooms in a pet home somewhere. Must be nervewracking,,,,,,,I can't wait for our turn.

Perserverance isn't a long race.
It's a series of short races,
ran one after the other.
