i would like his feet back just a tad
so he is more on his pads forward. I would move them just back to the edge of the block. I tend to stack them a bit to far under the dog and IMO i think they look like an elephant trying to stand on a ball.

and
thick, and RED, hes nice... I always get in crap for setting my dogs out to far in the rear, humm to many sporting dogs growing up?, should the hock be straight 90 degrees to the ground or the legs under a tad like the photo? at training classes its not much help, when i think i have the legs right the instrutor of a different breed pulls them out so the hocks are straight to the ground .. I've been fighting with this.

He looks great Vicky....
wow... cant believe how time flies! He's looking good! See ya in the ring! xo
Thanks, He is a mover
you put one foot and he moves it. On the blocks, if he moves them he has no where to put his foot except where it was. So they dont move since the will have nothing under the feet if they do. These are a friends, his mom is using Cinderblocks. It's not easy to set them up, you have to do the front feet first and then the rear. He has a leaning problem so i dont want to hold his jaw as he messes himself up. Or i mess him up.

Here is his side, he needs his feet back a bit more. He and I together are a work in progress.
