White warts inside cheeks???

Ok, I gave Rocco a bath today, cleaned his teeth and noticed that he had wart like bumps (white) all over inside his cheeks. What is that??? The only thing he had been doing differently in the last two weeks in chewing on a nylabone like a maniac. (He did not like the nylabone before)... Does anyone have experience with anything like that? What is that???

I answered on the other forum but forgot to note that if they don't go away in three months, you have to get them treated, since they could multiply in the dog's throat and interfere with breathing.
