What is this? Flea bites? Please help...

Frida has this all over her belly, I haven't found any fleas on her but 3 weeks ago I did find 2 when I bathed her. My other bully doesnt have anything like this and I checked him for fleas too and he is clean. Could they be so small I can't see them? They don't scratch themselves too much. There are tons of wild rabbits outside.

I started cleaning it with listerine and putting goldsbond powder, is this enough?

It looks worse in person, its hard to get a pic because she doesnt want to cooperate. LOL

Zoey had the same thing, in the same area....

it turned out to be a Staph infection. She was given antibiotics and a great cream and after two days.........gone!

She does take

Claritin for allegies, but maybe I should try the bendryl instead until this clears up. It looks really bad and if it were me I would be miserable. I am baffled as well and was thinking of taking her to the vet if it doesn't clear up with the listerine and powder. Now that you said legs, I noticed she does have some going down her legs.

I hope someone here can help out.

My girl has the same thing!

One of my girls has the same thing on her belly and back legs as well. I have not found any fleas on her but did find a flea on the shih tzu a few weeks ago. I even did a flea bomb in the house after that and bathed and applied more Frontline to the two of them and the cats as well. Have not seen any more fleas but she still has some irritation. I bathed in a universal medicated shampoo this weekend to see if it would help and it has some but I still see some of the bumps. She is not itching either so I am baffled as well as to what it could be. I sure hope someone knows what it could be. Maybe it is allergies. Have you tried to give her some Benedryl to see if that will help? I had to do that a few years ago with her when she came here as she had fleas when she arrived and had a reaction to the bites as well. The benedryl worked well then.

Ok, sounds like it.....

she's been spending lots of time looking for lizards in the bushes and then trying to cool off on the grass. Thanks again for your help!

Thanks Vicky

I was trying that but only morning and evening, I just started yesterday. I will do more times a day then. So do you think its flea bites or a just a rash?

listerine with gold bond will take care of it

let the listerine dry and then dust with goldbond. do this a few times a day and it will be gone.
