at what age should

i switch my healthy puppy to adult food? i thought 1 year, but it seems alot of people put them on adult food at 6 months. with my first 2, i kept them on until 1 year, but i'm not sure what is best? also, can i start glucosamine supplements at 6 months? any advise would be greatly appreciated!!

i do feed

totw right now, but his poop is too runny. i'm going to finish this bag & if it's not firm by then, i was going to try something new. i have an adult bully too, so it would be nice to have them on the same food. that's why i asked about the age it's ok to feed adult food:) i give my adult hip & joint pill supplements. i thought i would start my puppy on them as soon as he's old enough just to maybe prevent any problems in the future.

TOTW

Doesn't that food have all that in it? Are you giving them more?

i'm feeding

totw pacific stream right now, but if his poop doesn't firm up, i might switch him. so, it's safe to put him on an adult dog food if i have to switch him to one that's not all life stages?

No

Four months is a good age to switch. Some people don't use puppy food at all. You should feed a good all stages food.

give firming time...

I think people often give up too quickly. It can take months for a dog to adjust to food. When we fed TOTW it took my crew about 3-5 months for poop to firm
