What is the best way to keep water out of bulldog ears when bathing? Spanky has frequent ear infections and the vet said part of it is from moisture getting in the ears. He shakes out cotton balls that I try to stuff in his ears. For his bath today, I washed his face only with a damp washcloth and no bubbly suds, but he is still rubbing his ears as if some water got in there.
Thanks for advice.
Re: Water in ears
check out the recipe for yeasty ears..it works great for the ears when giving baths. For right now though I would put some alchol in his ears to make sure they are dry..
Thanks...
for the suggestion!
What I do..
stuff the cotton balls way down and don't spray water over his head. Only use the spray hose up to the neck and use a sloppy wet washcloth to wash the head and face wrinkles. Be careful not to get water in the ears. I clean ears after the bath.

Thanks
I always use the method you describe. I never run water over his head, but somehow a little water seems to get in there. He always shakes the cotton out. Maybe I'm not stuffing it far enough down in the ears. I'll try harder next time. Thank you.
