Looking for anyone with some help for my baby! 3yo healthy, happy bully who this morning sometime after his breakfast (at least 1 hr after) threw part of it up. Tonight, after dinner approx 1 1/2 hrs later he threw ALL of it up. He's vomitted two more times since then, the last time being all bile and some water.
Any tips, info, insight? We're going to try some rice and chicken for breakfast tomorrow morning and see if he keeps it down. If not, we're headed to the vets.
**He's been getting 1/2 can green beans with each meal to help maintain weight, along with (of all things) Candidae ALS kibble.
He's still having normal bowel movements and urinating ok. Doesn't seem to be lethargic or any other symptoms, just the vomitting.
Thanks.

Hi, if they do an xray ask about a barium one as a reg. one does
like corn cobs, stuffing from toys, itc. I had a dog once that threw up a piece of corn cob in Dec and the last that there was corn here was Aug so they can retain items in there that you will not know about as you may not remember.

No
He chews on things -- thankfully just favorite toys -- but doesn't seem to be a hard chewer. Russell on the other hand would eat a car if we let him LOL.
He threw up again sometime in the middle of the night, so we're off to the vets this morning.
Thanks for responding! Never had to deal with a repeated bout of vommitting.

Is George a hard chewer?
I have seen chunks of toys stay in their systems for many weeks.

The vomiting comes out of nowhere, with no apparent cause. Then suddenly a big chunk of a toy that they haven't had for ages comes up. Usually something hard rubber or plastic.
Could George have swallowed a piece of a toy a long time ago?
An xray will show things that are opaque in the digestive tract...but some things don't show up. Good luck! George is too sweet to have a tummy ache.

Thanks Amy!
We are pretty sure he didnt get into anything as we keep with him while he and Russell are outside. We realized tonight that we didnt have a thermometer in the house! So, thats also on the agenda for tomorrow... we're going to keep an eye on him throughout the evening and most likely take a trip to the vet tomorrow just to be on the safe side. Unfortunately, we keep reading about a blockage in the stomach as a cause for this. Keeping our fingers crossed that its not anything that serious!
Thanks,

He could have gotten into something...
My girl Isabella eats everything she can get in her mouth. Sometimes she will start to throw up meals, all or part, and I know something is in her tummy that won't digest. She eventually tosses it back up:-) If your boy hasn't thrown up any type of item, but is still vomiting tomorrow, I agree a vet visit might be in order.
Best wishes.
