Hi Everyone! I have a four month old English Bully who has very dark tear staining. I have switched her food to grain free/dye free and also started giving her only bottled spring water in an effort to get rid of or at least reduce the tear stains, and none of it has worked. My vet gave me a topical gel called "lash n lid", but that doesn't work either! I am not comfortable putting any harsh chemical on her like peroxide or bleach. I have heard that Angel Eyes works, but am reluctant to try it because she will have to ingest it. My vet doesn't have any experience with the product... Has anyone here had any success/failure stories to share to help educate me?? Any advice is appreciated!!
THE MAKERS OF ANGEL EYES SELL PUPPY MILL DOGS
I KNOW FIRST HAND, I SUED THEM! THEY BUY DOGS FROM THE MID-WEST WITH GENETIC FLAWS AND SELL THEM IN THEIR PET STORE. THEY ARE NOW MOVING ON TO DOG ITEMS/ ANGEL EYES, LOOK THEM UP, THE OWNER IS LYNDA W. AND HER HUSBAND OUT OF FL. THEY ALSO OWN, I'M A LITTLE TEACUP. IF YOU BUY THIS PRODUCT YOU ARE SUPPORTING THEM AND THEIR HORRENDOUS ACTS.

Not all bullies are as fortunate as the ones we call our own....

Re: Tear Stains/ Angel Eyes
Clean the folds with a diluted solution of water and hydrogen peroxide twice a day. I read somewhere, it may have been here, a mixed solution of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and using a tooth brush, in the stained area, can help keep decrease the staining.

Re: Tear Stains/ Angel Eyes
I've used this on recommendation of vet for puppy at 9 mos. of age. It worked beautifully. You don't see the results for several weeks until the stained hairs grow out. The best price I found for it was at Amazon.com

Angel Eyes contains Tylan
If you decide to use Angel eyes, you should look up the recommend restrictions on the use of the antibiotic called Tylan. Angel Eyes contain Tylan.
