rea heals it stains his white coat. Does anyone know what this may be?? I can't see any sores but it looks like raw skin. We put Peroxide and some anti-itch spray. This heals the are and he is ok but then again the are starts oozing a week later\
run it through the wash with the dog bedding and let it dry in the sun until 100% dry, if you have to put it back on then loosen it a bit.
put listerine on his sore and let dry, then dust with gold bond. If his neck is thick and full of wrinkles, you will need to powder him when he gets moisture in the folds. On thick wrinkles i use the gold bond foot powder as it is good with yeast

if it's holding moisture in the area. Keep the area clean and dry. Clean the spots with listerine (the brown kind) and dry well, then sprinkle with gold bond powder.

Otis was 2 yr old when I got him. His previous owners had him on a dog food with corn in it. His neck area (around his collar) was constantly broken out with red spots which would heal and come back. I narrowed it down to his dog food. He is allergic to anything with corn in it. Once I switched foods, and watched any treats I gave him, the red spots went away and have never returned. Good luck!

Otis had something similar
