Sneezing?

Lately dozer has been having these spells, there almost like a sneezing fit, he wheezes and stuff for about 5-10 seconds at a time and the spells last 2-3 minutes and then hes fine. Anyone have any idea what it is? I've seen dozer sneeze and these aren't exactly like that its more like a wheezing fit. I have a friend who's dog has asthma and it sounds almost like when her dog has an asthma attack. Could this be the issue?

sounds like a reverse sneeze

it could come one due to allergens in the air. What you do is put your fingers on his nostrils that way it will force him to breathe out of his mouth and he will stop the wheezing. I usually tilt his head downward then covers his nostrils and once he breath out of his mouth about 5 secs, it would stop. Sometimes you have to repeat usually twice.

Could also be allergy-related...

and certainly weather-related...the dry air, some blowing pollen (still) and lots of things blooming...guess if its only sneezing you just watch him. happy.gif
