Shedding suggestions?

Does anyone have any quick and easy suggestions for shedding? Hank is white and fawn (piebald - so mostly white) and he sheds like crazy. We have a brush but he really doesn't like it, and to be honest it really doesn't get much hair off for some reason. He's a happy pup but people don't like to pet him or hold him because his hair gets ALL OVER them. I don't mind it but some other people do. I've just adjusted and stopped wearing black lol.

Any suggestions or home remedies or anything!?

Thanks

Hank and Sarah

I'm a big fan of the rubber horse curry.

It's that time of the year. The curry and the vaccume!

I agree with Judy

a good fish oil supplement, and we use the furminator on Onslow every couple of days.

I stopped buying black clothing years ago. wink.gif LOL

I agree with the fish oil also

I noticed a tremendous difference in the amount of shedding this spring since I started the fish oil. I alternate between the cod liver oil and norweigan salmon oil. I don't use capsules because my dogs won't eat them and poking a hole in them to squirt the oil out is a major pain in the butt.

I also use the furminator during shedding season.

Re: a rubber curry brush....

Thank you! Does the cod liver oil just come in pill form? Would I do just one a day? I think I'll try some kind of different brush and the supplement. Thanks for the help.

I use a furminator on our guys...

it gets tons of hair off of them every time I brush which is usually daily.
