Shaking/Vibrating hind legs

I took Oliver for the last time tonight in the backyard, when we came back he climbed next to me and I could see and feel his hind legs shaking, like muscle twitches. He was salivating a bit more than normally and as my husband coaxed him with a treat....he didn't want it. Lately his appetite is not how it should be, often times he doesn't touch his food......any suggestions please

Thanks

Well we took him to the ...

24 hr emergency vet last night becuase he just wasn't acting like himself. While he was there they were able to see some muscle twitching, they checked his stomach and his heart temp was normal, so they gave him some fluids and anti nausea meds (they thought he may have an upset belly), He looked like a camel with this lump of fluid on his back, actually kind of funny. When we got back he was back to normal, no twitching, breathing more normally no ewxcessive saliva. My husband is home today so we'll see what happens. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have to agree. This is an issue that should be senn

right away. Especially if it happened after a trip outdoors, your dog could have ingested something poisonous or gotten bitten/stung by something. Need to have a vet trip as soon as you can today.

take him to the vet..

any loss of appetite should be checked by a vet. Is there anything unusual in the yard? New fertilizer? New lawn or plants? Mushrooms?

This behavior would concern me enough to see a vet first thing in the morning. I'd go to emergency if the shaking does not stop.
