Scar tissue after palate resection

My 6 year-old is having palate issues again  (last resection only 1 year ago!)  He has had 3 palate resections total because he keeps develping scar tissue.  I know this is A LOT but we had no choice but to do it each time because he was having such a problem breathing.  Just wondering if anybody else has had any experience with this problem.

Sheez!

That's pretty upsetting... May I ask what technique they're using for the surgery (scapel vs laser)?

both....

The first 2 times were scapel and the third time was the laser.  Surprisingly the laser had the least desirable result.  It has only been a year and he's having trouble... at least we got 2 years out of the other procedure.

Poor Fonzie!

Toby had the palette surgery done about 2 1/2 years ago and has not had a problem since then. I am so sorry Fonzie keeps having to go through that! But if he can't breathe, he can't breathe. He needs to be able to breathe, poor guy!

Maybe a different kind of surgery would result in less scarring?
