Rust color on wrinkles
Submitted by fridavito on April 21, 2010 - 12:03amaround eyes and even coming from his rectum (Vito) he is on raw diet, and grain free treats. He got like this last year during the spring but it cleared up by summer. This time he is still very rusty and his eyes are very watery all the time. Should I take him to the vet or is there something I can put on him at home to clear this up? I have started him back on Claritin this week.

I think you may be right.....
that is one thing that is different from last year. i was doing the brita water filter and somehow I dont know when or why i stopped. I just looked for my pitcher and cant find it. I think i have to go out and get a new one. can i used bottled water?

Tear stains
Tear stains can be caused from a variety of reasons. I believe they are mostly food or water related but, what works for one dog may not work for another. I think one thing that really helped my dogs was giving them filtered water.
