Red testicles

When I was rubbing Tuffy's belly today I noticed one of his testicles looked red and inflamed and there was some dirt or dried on feces on it. I cleaned it the best I could and added some bag balm to soothe it. Was that the right thing to do or do I need to call the vet?

keep your eye on it and if it gets worse call the vets. =)
that was ok.....
some times the balls just look red from sitting or lay on them.....keep any thing you use to clean them very gentle like you did...
that happened to
my percy when he was alive. i think a little piece of poop got in between his testicle & leg & i didn't notice right away. i just cleaned & dried it & it was fine. just watch it so it doesn't get infected. he should be fine =) now i check both sides of cooper's a couple times a week to make sure i don't miss anything!
