Red Swollen eye

Today I noticed that my 5 month old puppy has a puffy eye it almost looks like the tear duct is swollen. There is also some redness on the bottom of her eye.
My only guess is maybe cherry eye? but is she too young to develop this?
Any help for the weekend until I can get her to the vet would be appreciated thanks

I will do the warm compress to help her out! I had a male bullie prior to Layla and he developed cherry eye when he was about 3 years old it looks similar. I lost my male (Winston) to lymphoma

to have cherry eye. Our 3 year old, Chloe developed cherry eye at 5 months. We had it fixed when she was spayed at 6 months. It could also be a problem with her tear duct which is not uncommon. You could use a warm compress on the eye 2-3 times a day until you can get her to the vet.
