Hi, I've been noticing over the past few days that the skin between the toes on Boog's front feet is a little red and raw looking, and it seems moist. We haven't changed his food, and I have never seen him licking his feet or anything. Could it just be from being sweaty? I used some gold bond powder for a couple of days but it hasn't made any difference. Today I put some aveeno cream on. Any idea on what this is and how to treat it? We are going away and leaving Boog in a pet sitters care, and I sure don't want this thing to progress while we're gone!
Re: Epsom Salt soak
Thank you , I'll try it. How long does it usually take to clear up? We're going away in a few days..................

Epsom Salt soak
Mix some with warm water soak his foot in it for several minutes, pat dry and then apply gold bond powder. It works for us and my vet likes Epsom salt saoks.

epson salt and preperation H
My bulldog gets this all the time. to help prevent i make sure his paws get dried with a towel every time he comes in from outside. when he does get it i soak his feet in the bathtub with epson salt. i also put some preparation H on the swelling. his feet get better in a day or two. the preparation H really helps.
