my almost 12 week old pup seems to poop alot. a good 4-5 times a day and huge amnts LOL His poop is formed,,but a bit soft... he has lots..LOTS of energy..so doesn't appear ill. He eats totw pacific stream
are you feeding him a day? i had the same problem (mine is 21 weeks & also on totw pacific stream), & then figured out that my measuring scoop was off. so i was actually overfeeding him(not alot but it made a difference). i compared it to one of my measuring cups from the kitchen & the dog food scoop was more. i believe puppies will poop more often than adults anyway, but maybe this will help a little. he sure is cute!!! good luck!!!

re: campylobacter. My dog went more than that when i first got him (sometimes as often as 12 times a day). It was always soft, though never watery. I didn't know any better and assumed this was normal for puppies.
He had a combination of bacterial infections that he brought with him from the broker from whom I bought him. Coccidia, giardia, and campylobacter. it took multiple courses of antibiotics to get rid of these for good.
I would take a stool sample to the vet and ask him to specifically test for these bacteria.
Is the middle of his belly swollen at all? I remember that my vet had found that.
Also, be sure to clean up his poop from the yard scrupulously, since if he goes back and eats it or smells it, he could get reinfected. This was hard with my dog, since the stools were so soft that they would smear on the grass and it was impossible to get it all up.

Mine pooped that much
if not more at that age. As long as it is not liquid and they are acting fine it is normal

Pups this age eat a lot.....
because they're growing by leaps & bounds AND they play really hard.
I think it's fine & wouldn't worry about it.
