Plastic Water Bowl Causing Pimples?

Vet said it was maybe the plastic water bowl, I use the ceramic bowl for food for Mya. Sasha's always used the plastic and doesn't really have any pimples.

Would you get glass or the metal bowls? I plan on buying new stuff. Do you guys let your dogs eat out of the same food bowl, or get them their own? Cause mya will eat out of Sasha's sometimes, just wondering if it's a big deal or what??

Thanks!!

Okay!

Stainless Steel it is! I think I'll get 3, one for the water, and two for each of their food bowls. They eat the same exact food, but true, they both like to eat everything in sight! Haha.

Stainless is Best

Stainless is the type of bowl I would recommend. Ceramic may contain lead in the glazing and unless you know for sure there is no lead, I wouldn't take a chance. Stainless cleans and disinfects easily. I use individual bowls for each of my bullies, as each requires a slightly different menu. I feed them in their crates so there is no snitching! Diana would eat everything in sight!! Cleaning the food bowl after each meal is important so no old food or slobber gets dried on the bowl and it helps prevent ants and other nasties from infesting your dog and their eating area. And yes I have heard of pimples caused by plastic bowls.

Stainless Steel Non Skid Bases

We have two sets that we rotate through the dishwasher every week. No pimples here.

Perserverance isn't a long race.
It's a series of short races,
ran one after the other.
