Need advise

Mr.Chubs some how pulled one of his rear nails off, we cleaned it and put Neosporin and a bandage on it. Has anyone else ever dealt with this before and should I take Him to the Vet. Thanks Larry,Harley and Mr.Chubs.

Thanks

Thinks for the info.hopefully Mr.Chubs nail will grow back.

RE:

Agree with the other posts. Winston caught and tore off his dew claw a couple years ago. We took him to the vet who fixed him up and we just made sure to keep it clean. It eventually grew back. If it looks to be painful for him or like it may be getting infected, bring him to the vet.

yes, just keep it clean and put the neosporin on it while it really raw.  Mine did this and his nail grew back.  Some don't though.

This happened to Kano...

It didn't bother her to have the quick exposed (the quick was pretty short). I just kept it clean, but it took weeks for the nail to regrow. I was kinda nervous about that!
