Has anyone tried Merrick Puppy Plate food for their pups? We are going to be switching to that today, but wanted a little feedback from you all if possible. We're having a very difficult time finding the right food for Sanford, whose 3 months old. He came home from the breeder on Puppy Chow, and we slowly switched him over to Blue Buffalo Puppy. His poop gradually got looser and looser until it was flat out major diarreah. This lasted for a couple of weeks until the Vet put him on Hills W/D, which we weren't too happy with, but for Sanford's sake went with it. His poop firmed up nicely, but wanted to get him onto a better food. We slowly switched him to TOTW Pacific Stream, and was fine for a week, but then he began to vomit it up. At first it was just during the night, then began to do it during the day also. We're on the second bag and the vomit continues. We really hate to keep changing the food with him being so young, but what gives? So has anyone used Merrick Puppy Plate? Thanks everyone!!!
At three months old, you can go to 2xday feedings...
is there some special reason you're still feeding three times a day? I was wondering if you're doing this to help control his vomiting, but he's likely old enough to ease him into twice daily which you would maintain for a lifetime...just altering the amount of food as needed (ie, giving him the same two cups total, but two feedings of one cup each).

UPDATE: No current vomit, haven't changed food yet
We bought the Merrick Puppy Plate food, but have not started him on it yet. Instead, we cut back on the amount of TOTW Pacific Stream he was getting, and added some digestive enzymes. Instead of a full cup 3 times per day, we cut it back to 3/4 cup at breakfast and lunch, and a 1/2 cup at dinner, mixing in the enzymes at each meal. Surprisingly, he hasn't thrown up since we started that. We love TOTW so hopefully he can keep it down. But the Merrick is ready just incase.

I haven't tried the puppy plate, but I have tried other Merrick
I tried different flavors with Cartman and Dinky. Cartman can be very picky, and he loved most of the Merrick products. The only one he didn't really like was the Brouts N' Tots, but Dinky loves all the flavors. I have read that most of the Merrick products have gotten high ratings. Hopefully your food search is over...I know finding the right brand can be such a pain.
